Australia currently has no R18+ rating for video games. This situation restricts freedom of choice, encourages piracy, and places adult material into the hands of children. Find out why.

You can help by spreading the word, writing to your Member of Parliament and making your voice heard for a fairer, safer ratings system. Find out more.

Site Updates: Template Letter, Podcast

The How You Can Help page has been updated with a standard template letter you can use to contact your Attorney-General, including a downloadable Microsoft Word version. The page also contains the names and addresses of all the Attorneys-General in Australia, so please, whether you use the template or make your own, please make your voice heard.

In other news, I was recently invited onto the Akimbo Podcast to discuss the need for an R18+ rating for computer and video games in Australia. If you’re interested, you can download/stream the podcast from this address. It was a lot of fun to do, and I hope it reaches even one person who hadn’t heard of this issue before.

If you have any feedback on any of these things, please feel free to leave me a comment or wing me an email.
